Marc-Oliver Kempf opened the scoring for the hosts with a corner before Konstantinos Mavropanos scored an excellent second before Roberto Massimo grabbed a third to secure all three points for Stuttgart against Hoffenheim. Jacob Bruun Larsen gave the visitors a glimmer of hope with a late consolation goal, but Stuttgart claimed all three points.
Stuttgart started the match as the stronger side, but Hoffenheim held their nerve and grew into the match. Andrej Kramaric looked dangerous and went close twice in the early states before Ilhas Bebou hit the bar. They would come to rue those missed chances, as the home side drew first blood. A swift counter saw them win a corner, which Omar Marmoush floated onto the head of Marc Oliver Kempf, who nodded it past Oliver Baumann. Across the first half, the two sides were very evenly matched, with chances at both ends. When the whistle blew, Kempf’s goal was all that separated them.
In the second half, Stuttgart continued to look confident and capable of handling anything Hoffenheim threw at them. The visitors made a double change in order to find a way back into the game, but, almost immediately, their task became more challenging. With an hour played, Konstantinos Mavropanos collected the ball on the right, burst through the Hoffenheim defence at speed, and unleashed a fierce left-footed drive to double Stuttgart’s advantage. Kramaric could have halved the deficit, but he just mistimed his header, leaving him to rue yet another missed chance. With less than ten minutes remaining, substitute Roberto Massimo placed a shot beyond Baumann to all but seal the three points for Stuttgart. Just three minutes later, though, fellow substitute Bruun Larsen pulled one back for Hoffenheim with a shot from distance that evaded everyone in a crowded penalty area to nestle in the back of the net. Try as Hoffenheim might, a comeback was not on the cards, and Stuttgart’s three goals gave them all three points.

Mavropanos-8.3 Stuttgarts defence sure did carry the team as both Mavropanos and Kempf had a absolutely amazing performance.Mavropanos scored a beauty in the 60 th minute to extend Stuttgarts lead.
karazor-7.6 Karazor had a good game in the first half.Of course he had a major impact in the defence because he had so many interceptions and had blocked a couple of shots from Hoffenheim.
Coulibaly-8 One of the most underrated player of the night is Coulibaly.He produced so many through balls for the attackers.What a man!
Mangala-6 Mangala had a really poor performance for Stuttgart.His impact for the team was so minimal and he wasnt useful for the attack even a little bit.Disappointing performance from him
Endo-8.5 When i hear the name Endo from the commentator i only have one thing in my mind how is he so underrated.His performance was absolutely surprising.Had a top class performance for them.
Sosa-7.5 Sosa had a really decent performance for the team and his passes were too sloopy.
Fuhrich-6.9 The attacker had one of his worst performance for the german team.If he had converted the chances he had they could have extended the lead even more.
Marmoush-8 Marmoush had a good season so far and his contribution to the team was good as usual.Contributed a assist to the team.

Vogt-8 Vogt is argubaly one of the best defenders for Hoffenheim in todays game.Stuttgart could have scored 4-5 goals but Vogts marvelous defencive works payed off by decreasing the defect.

Kramaric-8 Honestly,Kramaric had a pretty good game.But he could have equalised for Hoffenheim if he didnt go offside in multiple occasions.Overall good performance

Bebou-6.9 Bebou missed so many good chances which could have decreased the defecet.And he was too selfish that he didnt want to pass in a couple of circumstances.
Akpoguma-6.5 To be honest the Akpoguma had a really good performance for a substitute.He created a couple of chances.
Rutter-6.1 Had a bad perfmormance.Very very sloopy with his passes besides that he also missed a good chance
Larsen-8 Both the teams had a super sub as Larsen was the only goal scorer for Hoffenheim.
