France basketball star Victor Wembanyama has been making the headlines lately at the 2024 Paris Olympics regarding his monstrous height during a recent game against Japan. Notably, at a height of 7-foot-4, Wembanyama was the tallest player on the court and his presence alongside the Japanese players is what has got the basketball community talking about recently.

In addition, with a thrilling victory over Japan on Tuesday, Wembanyama and the French men’s basketball team secured a spot in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris quarterfinals. French shooter Matthew Strazel, behind by four points with 15 seconds remaining in regulation, nailed a 3-pointer while drawing a foul, taking the game into overtime and eventually winning it.

However, what caught most of the fans’ attention at the event was Wembanyama’s height in comparison to the Japanese player, Yuki Togashi. Fans were quick to put forward their views regarding the French star on various social media apps.

On the contrary, in addition to his team-high 18 points, Wembanyama had 11 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and two steals in the game.
