Minnesota Vikings cruised to their seventh straight win of the season against a hapless Chicago Bears on Monday Night. At U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, in front of the roaring Vikings fans and electric atmosphere, the Bears could only watch while they fell to 4-10 after the Vikings’ 30-12 victory.
Running back Aaron Jones reached the end zone in the third quarter with a one-yard touchdown — the 50th rushing score of his NFL career. After crossing the goal line, Jones celebrated by leaping into the stands, reminiscent of his Lambeau Leap days with the Green Bay Packers. However, this time, he added a unique Spider-Man twist to the moment.
In a post-game interview, Aaron Jones recollected about the celebration. He confessed that it was a little tired combination of things to celebrate the special moment.
Jones, also answered the question on how it feels to hit such a unique milestone. He admitted that it wasn’t an easy feat to reach fifty rushing TDs. He went on to set new benchmarks for himself as he moved ahead in the competition.

The Vikings have clinched a playoff spot and are top contenders for the NFC top seed. The Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Vikings are tied on twelve wins and two losses through Week 15.
Aaron Jones living a sensational season alongside the Minnesota Vikings’ 12-win run
Jones, who joined the Vikings on a one-year, $7 million deal in the offseason from the Green Bay Packers, delivered a strong performance against the Bears. He finished the night with 86 rushing yards on 18 carries and added two receptions for 20 yards on three targets.
In the 2024 NFL regular season, the 30-year-old has already accumulated 979 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 215 carries, significantly outperforming his final season with the Packers. The numbers are significantly better than the 2023 season where he appeared in only 11 games. He managed just 656 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 142 carries.
Jones also reached a milestone during the Bears game, as highlighted by StatMuse, which noted he is one of just 10 players since the merger to record 50+ rushing touchdowns and 20+ receiving touchdowns in their career. In total, Jones now has 50 career rushing touchdowns and 20 receiving touchdowns. While he has yet to secure a receiving touchdown with the Vikings, he’ll look to change that in Week 16 when Minnesota takes on the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field.
