The 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards saw WNBA and Chicago Sky star Angel Reese grace the red carpet.
Angel Reese has shown no signs of stopping. The WNBA rookie star has been on a whirlwind tour promoting her brand ever since her season ended early. With a lot of high-profile events under her belt, the Chicago Sky star has been setting the fashion trend.
Some have come to criticize the 22-year-old as they felt she was trying to show off a bit too much. A combination of her personality and her flamboyant style has maybe rubbed a few people the wrong way. Especially after her part in much of the negative narratives of this WNBA season.
However, nothing has fazed the former LSU star as she attended the CFDA 2024 Fashion Awards held in New York. This marks her second fashion show appearance after being in the front row at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show held a few days ago.
Reece is known to turn up the heat, both on and off the court. She did the same as she arrived in a stunning dress designed by Simkhai. It was paired with a white furry coat along with black strapped sandals that have become a fashion norm.
She added a sparkling diamond tennis necklace and matched it all up with a blonde makeover of her hair. Quite the outfit she put forward considering she was among the who’s who of the fashion and celebrity world.

Angel Reese did well in selecting this look and kept company with the likes of Blake Lively, Ciara, and Kylie Jenner. The WNBA hooper is working hard to establish herself as one of the most marketable women’s basketball players ever.
Angel Reese could visit alma mater with NCAA season set to start
It is evident from her activity that Angel Reese has a packed schedule – be it fashion shows, television appearances like her recent one on Wild N Out, or shooting her weekly podcast episodes. The Chicago Sky star is keeping busy and does not seem to mind the hustle.
Many women’s basketball players tend to visit their alma mater at the start of the new NCAA season, and Reece could do the same. For the rebounding phenom, many of her former teammates are still on the LSU Tigers squad for the upcoming season.
With games set to tip off at home on November 4, expect the former team captain to be present in the stands. She could link up with former head coach Kim Mulkey as well as a possible future teammate in Aneesah Morrow. Reese will be there to cheer her team on as they look to fight South Carolina for the title.
