Stephen Curry Is No Rookie, He Has A ‘Paw Patrol’ Bag

USA Basketball posted a video on X featuring a post-match Stephen Curry. In the video, Curry admits to feeling golden after the match. He followed it by joking that now he was no longer a rookie. Showing off his medal, he said that he was now in the club. The USA Basketball also joined in on the joke as they welcomed Curry into the Olympic gold medalists club.

“I feel goldness right now. I’m in the club right now. I ain’t a rookie no more. Even though I got my beautiful backpack.” , Curry said in the clip.

The joke was about an interview before the Paris Olympics. Back then, Curry was surprised when the reporter had called him a ‘rookie’ while asking him a question. Curry followed ditching his rookie tag by showing the camera his ‘beautiful’ Paw Patrol backpack.

The NBA star cannot be called a rookie anymore. He is done with his Olympic debut. Although there is no confirmation if he will be participating in the LA Olympics or not, the fans eagerly anticipate his return.
