The Denver Nuggets playing against the Minnesota Timberwolves always turns out to be an exciting game. The rivalry intensified after the two went against each other this past season. In their most recent matchup, the Timberwolves prevailed in a thrilling encounter. Also, things got heated up during the fourth quarter between Nuggets guard Christian Braun and Timberwolves defender Rudy Gobert.

After giving Rudy Gobert a powerful dunk, Braun celebrated in front of him. In celebration, Braun screamed and walked straight into Gobert, past the baseline. The Frenchman objected, pushing the 25-year-old guard away with his hands. This led to a ‘wild brawl’ breaking out between the two sides with staff and referees getting involved to solve the matter.

However, the referees did not let the matter slide, as Braun and Gobert received technical fouls in the process. That said, Gobert ended the game with 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Braun finished with 14 points and seven rebounds. Also, Gobert opened up on the dunk performed by Braun after the game concluded.

He praised Christian Braun for the monstrous dunk but wasn’t a big fan of his celebration towards him. In the end, Gobert got the last laugh as his side beat the Nuggets. The Timberwolves have been enjoying a lot of success against the Nuggets lately. It remains to be seen when the Nuggets break their losing streak against the Timberwolves in the league.
