Carlos Alcaraz has taken his talent off the court showing off his acting skills for BMW commercials. In the advert, Alcaraz showcases his acting talent in the BMW iX2, the latest electric SUV model.
In July 2022, Alcaraz became BMW’s ambassador after agreeing on a fruitful endorsement deal with the car company. Despite not having won a Grand Slam by then, BMW believed in the Spaniard’s abilities on the court and his rising star status. In September of that year, he claimed his first major title at the US Open.
Since then, Alcaraz has continued to shine on the court with great performances. Last year, he was the only player to beat Novak Djokovic in a Grand Slam final at Wimbledon. This season, he won the first ATP Masters 1000 title of the year at Indian Wells, beating Daniil Medvedev in straight sets.
He went on to win the French Open and Wimbledon, taking his total Grand Slam tally to four. He claimed the singles silver medal at the Paris Olympics after losing to Djokovic in straight sets.
In the brand-new ad with BMW, the tennis sensation is seen in the SUV model iX2 car, while a couple contemplate whether it was really that particular model they were looking at. The woman then approaches the SUV asking Alcaraz whether it was iX2. Despite the Spaniard not replying she goes back to her partner. “You are never going to believe who was inside. Carlos Alcaraz!” the woman exclaims.
