Former NBA star and Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade and American actress Gabrielle Union have been together for 17 years now. The two got engaged in 2013 and tied the knot a year later in Miami. They have one child together. It was a second marriage for both of them. Considering both their fame and status, they have often been labelled as a “power couple”.
Dwyane Wade is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA history. Wade was drafted as the fifth overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft by the Miami Heat. In a career that spanned 16 years, he spent 13 years with the Heat, winning them three NBA Championships to go along with numerous other accolades.
He called time on his career in 2019 and retired as Miami’s all-time leader in points, games played, assists and steals. His achievements with the Heat earned him a statue outside the Kaseya Center.
Wade’s wife, Gabrielle Union is nearly ten years older than Wade. She has starred in several TV shows and movies throughout her career. She is well known for her humanitarian efforts and is an outspoken advocate for various issues such as women’s health, LGBTQ+ equality and violence against women.
Being the stars that they are, their relationship was anything but easy. The two split in early 2013 due to career demands. Union has played a huge role in Wade’s life and was very supportive of him during his battle with cancer, with Wade himself crediting his wife in the past.
Wade and Union were seen celebrating their 12-year engagement anniversary in their private plane. Wade, in a jubilant mood, said:
Back in 2013 on December 21st , the question was popped. I asked my wife is she gonna marry me, it’s 12 years to the date. So what we about to pop right now is 12 years of celebration.

Dwyane Wade believes the Oklahoma City Thunder can go back-to-back
Till a couple of weeks ago, defending and reigning champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, have looked nearly unbeatable as they lost only one game in their first 25 outings. But since then, they have lost three of their last five games, with two of those losses coming against the San Antonio Spurs.

Three-time NBA Champion Wade believes that despite the recent slump, the OKC are the favorites to repeat and go back-to-back.
I watched these dudes not have one celebration after they hit a bucket, not have one gesture toward the bench, toward the crowd or anything. It was bucket – defense, bucket – get back, bucket – get in these passing lanes… that’s why they about to be on this run.

The OKC still sit at the top of a heavily stacked Western Conference with a 26-4 record and still remain on course to break the regular season record of 73 wins set by the Golden State Warriors.
