Los Angeles is known as the world’s entertainment capital for producing the biggest blockbusters that have shaken the world. Ironically, the city is located south of a giant bend in the San Andreas fault where the plate boundary keeps changing its direction which results in it being prone to being affected by earthquakes.
It was a quiet Thursday morning on the set of FS1’s The Facility until an earthquake hit Los Angeles which resulted in the cameras on set shaking. The cast featuring LeSean McCoy, Emmanuel Ocho, Chase Daniel, and James Jones was in the midst of a debate on the expectations from Baker Mayfield this season right when the earthquake hit.
Right when the earthquake hit, they were all taken by surprise with Emmanuel Acho instantly reacting, “Oh sh*t, earthquake, earthquake!” James Jones did not allow the tremors to interrupt his air-time as he continued to make his point. LeSean McCoy was startled and could not believe Jones was continuing to talk.
"Earthquake!"

McCoy interrupted Jones after his life flashed in front of his eyes for a moment.
Hold on James, there's an earthquake, talking about Baker Mayfield, I just lost my life.LeSean McCoy exclaimed
The cameras around the studio began to shake and viewers could see firsthand the impact of the tremors.
The earthquake aside, Fox Sports has replaced Undisputed with ‘The Facility’ as its flagship sports talk show
As per the government’s website, the earthquake was centered in Malibu, California, and measured 4.7 on the Richter scale. The stars handled the situation well. None of them got flustered and hid under the tables or freaked out beyond measure. This is the second time in a month that an earthquake has hit a sports show on live television.

Last month, an earthquake hit Los Angeles at the time Malika Andrews was on set hosting NBA Today. The analyst was praised by fans for handling the situation like a true professional as she barely flinched and went on to finish the show.
The Facility has replaced Skip Bayless’ Undisputed as the main sports analysis show on Fox Sports. This comes after the iconic analyst’s attempt to revamp the show failed and resulted in record lows in viewership which compelled the network to head in a different direction.
