Boxing legend Mike Tyson familiarised himself with AT&T Stadium on Sunday ahead of his November fight. The consensus HW icon and “Baddest Man on the Planet” meets Jake Paul at the venue, where the Dallas Cowboys call home. Moreover, ‘Iron’ Mike met up with another sporting legend – Tom Brady.
Tyson got the chance to chat with seven-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady. The Dallas Cowboys hosted the New Orleans Saints in NFL Week 2. That meant Brady was going on call for FOX Sports. That set the stage for the GOAT to come face-to-face with former boxing heavyweight Mike Tyson. The two talked, hugged, and even posed for the photo op cordially.
Jake Paul meets Tyson next in a pro-sanction heavyweight bout in less than two months. It is to be contested across eight two-minute rounds at AT&T Stadium. Hydrating well around the 200-pound limits, Paul is moving up a weight for the epic affair. At par with his efforts and arrangements, this is to air live on Netflix, in a historic first. The matchup was for July but Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up.
Despite the scare during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles. Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) is in full gear. Tyson himself requested the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations to officially have it as a pro-sanction. Cowboys lost the stake in a Week 2 no-show at the playoff games.
However, the meetup of sports G.O.A.Ts is a whole other thing. Things are heating up at AT&T; with the passage of time, anticipation for Paul vs. Tyson is rising. Consequently, they are ready.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have yet another faceoff, but at AT&T
Setting a team record for most points allowed in the first half, the Dallas Cowboys were favored along the first-half frame. But in the second, they went down to a meek 44-19 defeat. While an aspect of one sport was blemishing, another was blooming, Mike Tyson in photo ops with Tom Brady was the head-turner of the whole week! Tyson also posed and talked with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, along with the FOX commentator.
After their meet-up before the Saints-Cowboys clash, ‘Iron’ stood on point and faced down the barrel – namely at Jake Paul. Preferring “El Gallo” more these days, the influencer-boxer has been making subtle waves along the way. Paul last faded out Mike Perry in an eight-round cruiserweight battle for DAZN Pay-per-view. High on believing, he thinks he’ll be able to take the war to Mike Tyson.
Standing at AT&T, the duo faced off yet again, after their New York City presser. The duo even had their custom opposing jerseys with embossed names. Jake Paul is also confident that the trifecta of his fans, the nostalgia over Tyson, and an AT&T Netflix event will be a fruitful one.
Last year’s Kansas City Chiefs-Miami Dolphins NFL AFC Wild Card game holds the streaming record with 23 million. Paul expects the big name in the card to bring in more streamers than that. As such he is fighting a battle on many fronts and he is ready for it.
