Hardik Pandya can finally breathe a sigh as he finally led Mumbai Indians to their first win of the 2024 Indian Premier League. Beating Delhi Capitals, Pandya can expect the hate he was receiving to reduce in the coming days. 

After MI’s win over DC and LSG’s win over GT, Krunal Pandya uploaded a video of a small event at their home. In the video, he and his brother Hardik Pandya were seen singing the song “Hare Krishna” while relatives at their home watched on.

While Hardik’s MI are struggling in the IPL, Krunal has been having a great time. His team, Lucknow SuperGiants, won 3 out of their four matches. Krunal has been effective with both ball and bat, averaging 48 with the bat and 22 with the ball. Along with that, he has the best economy rate with just 5.5 rpo. 

Young fan calls for Hardik Pandya’s sacking despite first win 

On 7th April, Mumbai Indians won their first game of the 2024 IPL. Despite the win, a young fan was not as ecstatic as everyone else. The video of his interview went viral, with many praising the young fan’s cricket knowledge. The fan was unhappy with the team not being loyal to Rohit Sharma, who won them five IPL titles.

The young fan also said Hardik Pandya needed to be sacked, with Sharma returning. He added that he didn’t find anything special in Pandya’s captaincy, criticizing him for opening the bowling instead of Jasprit Bumrah. The fan didn’t stop there, as he pointed out how low the MI captain’s strike rate was and claimed Romario Shepherd’s incredible hitting won them the match against DC. 

Strike rate bada, captaincy dekh, aur wickets bhi chatka thode, bohot run deta hai woh (Increase your strike rate, see your captaincy and pick up some wickets, he’s too expensive.) 
The young fan’s advice to Hardik Pandya

When asked if getting Pandya to MI was worth it, the fan said they should’ve kept Cameron Green instead of trading him to RCB. He suggested releasing Pandya at the end of the season and making Sharma the captain again.
