Looks like the facemask hit on quarterback Joe Burrow wasn’t the only uncalled penalty during the Cincinnati Bengals game against the Baltimore Ravens. Another clip from the AFC North showdown is going viral on the internet, where the Ravens’ Marlon Humphrey is clearly tackling the Bengals quarterback, causing him to groan in pain.
It happened in the third quarter, when the Ravens cornerback targeted Burrow, taking three full steps before delivering a powerful hit that knocked him down. The quarterback was seen grimacing in pain while holding his leg after the hit from Humphrey and yet, he didn’t miss the play.
Not to anyone’s surprise, the NFL officials didn’t call any penalty on Humphrey. Even the analysts in the broadcasting booth addressed the hit and the evident pain caused to the Bengals star quarterback, who had to walk off the field for some time before returning to the game.
This wasn’t the only uncalled penalty, as the officials also overlooked Nnamdi Madubuike grabbing Burrow’s facemask in the fourth quarter when the quarterback attempted the 2-point conversion. Roquan Smith was also seen hitting the Pro Bowler facemask, still, no penalty was imposed on any of the Ravens’ players.
Boy I didn't see that late hit from Marlon Humphrey that has Burrow in pain. Unreal that wasn't called.

Burrow was hit 13 times, yet he outshined the opposing quarterback Lamar Jackson by recording 426 yards and four touchdowns. Unfortunately, the Ravens secured the victory by a single point, leaving the Bengals with another loss against a playoff contender team.
Ravens’ Nnamdi Madubuike praises Marlon Humphrey for turning point in game
After no penalty was imposed on the All-Pro cornerback, his teammates applauded him for bringing a spark to the Ravens’ solid comeback in the Thursday Night Football game. Besides the stellar performance by the Bengals quarterback, wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase recorded his best stats of this season– which greatly contributed to Cincinnati’s 21-7 lead in the third quarter.
At that point, the Ravens desperately needed a strong play which Humphrey did by causing Chase to fumble at a 31-yard line after stripping the ball away from him.
Irrespective of the controversy surrounding the officiating in the game, the Ravens indeed staged an impressive comeback from the third quarter 28-13 lead of their opponents to a 35-34 victory to their name.
