Hate them or love them, the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs have broken the NFL. The team has cracked the code to winning games with ease and despite a slew of narrow victories this year, the best one ought to be the Week 10 dub over the Denver Broncos.

The Kansas City Chiefs were on the verge of losing the first game of its season as the Broncos had possession with the time winding down in the fourth quarter. Bo Nix put the team in field goal range and with less than 3 seconds to go, the team opted to kick a field goal with the score at 14-16 in favor of the Chiefs.

That’s it, if the field goal was good then the 5-4 Denver Broncos would have handed the reigning Super Bowl champions the first loss of their season. However, fate had something different in store. The field goal attempt was blocked by the Chiefs’ defense, and the ball was loose before cornerback Joshua Williams took possession and went out of bounds.

There was no way to anticipate this! The Chiefs practically handed the Broncos a win but took it right back before they could get their hands on it. The true heroes of tonight’s victory would be KC’s defense. The ending to this game was unbelievable. It makes the whole narrative of the NFL being scripted believable because it is hard to explain it in words! If not for the defense, then the team would have lost. Patrick Mahomes played average throwing for 266 yards and 1 touchdown. Apart from that, it was all Harrison Butker who put up 10 points tonight.
