(Video) Kawhi Leonard gives uncharacteristically animated reaction to James Harden’s move on Evan Mobley
Clippers star James Harden made Kawhi Leonard jump off his seat with an epic crossover over the Cavs' Evan Mobley on Tuesday

James Harden and Kawhi Leonard
On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the NBA’s best, the Cleveland Cavaliers, 132-119 at the Intuit Dome. The Clippers are finding their feet after going through a lot of injury struggles at the start of the 2024-25 NBA season. During their game versus the Cavs, James Harden did an epic crossover over Cavs’ Evan Mobley that sent the NBA world into a frenzy.
Notably Harden’s crossover also brought out a reaction from the nonchalant Kawhi Leonard. The latter is known for his ‘no-reaction’ interviews or his nonchalant nature. But Harden’s epic crossover could not prevent him from providing an epic reaction courtside.

Clippers star James Harden concluded the night with 22 points on an uninspiring 5-18 shooting night, including 2-11 from long, but he still managed to shine. Of course, this was Mobley’s crossover in the third quarter.
The layup came at a critical moment for the Clippers, giving them a four-point lead entering the fourth quarter. James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and company outscored the Eastern Conference’s top team 26-17.
In addition, everyone contributed to the Clippers’ win. Kawhi Leonard’s game-high 33 points, added on to Ivica Zubac‘s monster 28 points and 20 rebounds contributed to the Clippers beating the 56-win Cavaliers at their home arena. The Clippers’ next game is on Friday night when they play the Memphis Grizzlies.

As for James Harden, he has reaffirmed his place as one of the league’s best playmakers and scorers. After a two-year hiatus, he was named All-Star, and his tremendous statistical achievements have been the season’s highlight.
In 65 games, he averaged 23 points, nine assists, and six rebounds while shooting 35 percent from deep. His regular productivity places him among the NBA’s greatest guards, reinforcing his influence and capacity to transform the game. If Harden continues to deliver regularly alongside Leonard and Co., the Clippers will be a huge threat going into the NBA Playoffs.
Kawhi Leonard offered his recent views after overcoming the Cavs in epic win
The Clippers attempted to view Tuesday night’s game as just another game on their schedule, another opponent, and yet another day in a long season. That’s exactly what they did against the Eastern Conference’s best team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Despite trailing by 12 points, the Clippers came back to win on home court. Clippers star man Kawhi Leonard opened up on this.
We need these wins coming down this stretch right now and it’s giving (us) a playoff atmosphere, especially with the crowd being engaged the whole time. Thanks to the fans showing up tonight.
Kawhi Leonard said
The victory might be considered a statement game for the Clippers, who are hoping to climb the standings with less than a month remaining in the regular season. However, the players made no great thing about defeating the league’s best club.
