The Baltimore Ravens won a closely-fought battle against the Cincinnati Bengals in an overtime thriller. Despite a great effort by Joe Burrow and the Bengals, it was Lamar Jackson who had the last laugh as he led his team to a 3-2 record this season.
The Ravens came back from a deficit to beat the Bengals. Lamar Jackson made a remarkable play with under 6 minutes left to go in the fourth quarter. This play may have turned the trajectory of the game around and infused a great deal of confidence within the Ravens’ offense.
As Baltimore was 10 yards shy from the endzone, the team was hoping for an easy way to reduce the 10-point deficit. Right after the ball was snapped to Lamar Jackson, it slipped through his hands and he dropped it but scrambled quickly to pick it back up to keep the drive alive.
ONLY LAMAR. WOW.

Lamar Jackson had 0 turnovers in the Ravens victory over the Bengals
While the Ravens’ O-line did a good job in holding off the defensive linemen, Sam Hubbard was able to slip through the cracks and went right after Lamar Jackson. This did not faze the quarterback who stiff-armed him and managed to shake Hubbard off before running to the right and finding tight end Isaiah Likely right when he was running out of turf.
Lamar Jackson made a remarkably clutch throw to reduce the deficit to 3 points. Shortly after, this play led the Ravens to position themselves in field goal range with just 1:35 seconds left in the game and Justin Tucker kicked a 56-yard goal to tie the game up forcing an overtime. The reigning league MVP was lights out against the Bengals as he threw for nearly 350 yards and 4 touchdowns with 0 turnovers.
Despite a closely fought game with Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson walked away with the win at Paycor Stadium. Despite Burrow’s best efforts of throwing a near-400-yard game, 5 touchdowns, and 1 interception, the defense was unable to prevent the Ravens from going off. With this loss, the Bengals drop to a 1-4 on the season.
