The Baltimore Ravens came out victorious in the most anticipated game that put their playoff hopes at stake. After taking an early lead against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Lamar Jackson made history with a new single-season franchise record for touchdown passes. But a moment from his post-game press conference has gone viral, delivering a priceless reaction to his teammate’s first career touchdown against their archrivals.
In a game that marked a pivotal win for the Ravens, clinching a playoff spot and snapping a four-game losing streak against their divisional rivals, star quarterback Jackson was not only instrumental in his personal achievement but also reflected on his teammate, Mark Andrews‘ significant touchdown.
When the Steelers were trailing 24-17 lead the Ravens late in the third quarter, Jackson threw a 7-yard touchdown pass aimed at tight end Andrews, which marked the latter’s first touchdown catch of his career against Pittsburgh and the former’s new franchise record with 37th touchdown pass in a single-season.
“He didn’t? Damn! Sorry, seven years and this was his first touchdown against them? Damn,” said Jackson with utter surprise on his face when a reporter emphasized that Andrews recorded his first career TD against the Steelers during the Week 16 game.

Quarterback Jackson and the Ravens clinched the 34-17 victory against all odds and skepticism about his performance against the divisional rivals. With this feat, they are now in contention for their second consecutive divisional title.
Lamar Jackson reflects on late interception in Ravens’ stellar victory
The two-time NFL MVP’s performance was well complemented by star running back Derrick Henry’s impressive rushing game, which helped dominate time of possession. However, despite his individual as well as the team’s success, Jackson remained critical of his own play, particularly a late-game interception that he felt could have changed the outcome.
Nonetheless, the three-time Pro Bowler was happy with the victory against the Steelers and appreciated his team for staying focused despite facing a few setbacks on the way. He finished the game with 15-of-23 for 207 yards and three touchdown passes.
