Things took an unexpected turn when LeBron James hit the golf course in Florida.
James stumbled on an Alligator encounter
- LeBron James encountered an alligator while golfing in Florida with his son and a friend.
- The Lakers have won their last eight games and currently hold a 45-25 record.
- James tied Robert Parish for the most regular-season appearances in NBA history with 1,611 games.
The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James are on a good run of form at the moment. They are in the middle of a long six-game road trip and have won their first three. After an impressive win over the Miami Heat, the team headed to Orlando for its next game against the Magic.
With the team currently in Florida and with some free time between the games, LeBron James accompanied by his son Bronny James and UnitedMasters CEO Steve Stoute decided to hit the golf course.
In a clip shared on Stoute’s Instagram story, James’ ball landed close to a pond. As he walked up to take his shot, the group noticed an alligator slowly moving toward him from the water.

In what was supposed to be a relaxed session, it turned out to be an unexpected experience. Over the last few months, LeBron James has taken an interest in golf. James has often been caught on the golf course with his son, Bronny, during the offseason. Several former and current NBA stars have taken a liking to golf, such as Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Stephen Curry, and now James.
After their win over the Heat, the Lakers extended their winning streak to eight games. They currently sit at third place in the Western Conference standings with a 45-25 record.
Despite turning 41 at the end of last year, James has shown no real signs of slowing down. He is currently averaging 21.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 49 appearances this season. He is coming off a triple-double against the Heat where he recorded 19 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.
