LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers star and four-time NBA MVP, was on the receiving end of a vicious dunk by France’s Guerschon Yabusele during the gold medal game at the Paris Olympics. Yabusele, who has been receiving “MVP” chants from the home crowd throughout the tournament, threw down a driving dunk over James late in the first half, causing the crowd to erupt in cheers.

The dunk was a rare moment of weakness for LeBron James, who has been dominant throughout the Olympics, leading Team USA in points, assists, rebounds, and field goal percentage. However, Yabusele’s impressive play was a reminder that France has plenty of talent on its roster, including rising star Victor Wembanyama and NBA veterans Rudy Gobert, Nicolas Batum, and Evan Fournier.

James, who was wearing the new edition of his LeBron 22 shoes, was caught trying to draw a charge on Yabusele, but was a bit late to the spot and ended up on the wrong end of a poster dunk. The play has already become an all-time moment for Yabusele, who was selected 16th overall in the 2016 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics.
