In a recent vlog, Pimblett shared the behind-the-scenes of his visit to the Padres game at San Diego,California. In the vlog it can be seen that Pimblett along with his teammate Molly McCann got the honour of throwing the first pitch.

So we are at the Padres game. Me and meatball about to fill the first pitch. I feel I throw ball like a little girl so I’ve gotta be prepared for 30,000 people to laugh at me,‘ said Paddy in the vlog before the pitch.

Both Pimblett and McCann were given custom made Padres baseball jerseys which the duo wore during the event. They clicked a picture with the mascot and we’re treated well by the fans. Although Pimblett was nervous about the pitch, he was pretty good and his pitch landed at the catcher’s feet. On the hand, McCann was brilliant and threw the fall directly to the hands of the catcher. Even if it wasn’t the best pitch it was way better than Conor Mcgregor’s failed throw in September 2021.
