The New York Jets recently had a joint practice with the New York Giants, the team they are set to face off in the preseason finale on August 25. While the Jets’ first-team offense outperformed the Giants, many instances from the practice drill are hitting the internet covering from Aaron Rodgers to Breece Hall

For an athlete, the most important thing during their sport is to score a victory but there’s one more thing that deserves to be placed before anything– sportsmanship. At the joint practice on Wednesday, Hall proved himself as the epitome of athleticism.

There’s no denying that the running back stepped onto the football field intending to destroy the opposing defensive line of the Giants, but when he made a sharp cut to catch the pass from quarterback Rodgers, it evaded Isaiah Simmons. Just mere seconds after lodging the touchdown, Hall displayed his athleticism by checking in on the Giant’s safety’s ankles– which he thought got injured. 

Although Simmons didn’t get hurt, Hall won many hearts for the way he checked up on his opponents in fleeting seconds. This play unfolds Hall’s athletic prowess as well as his chemistry with the veteran quarterback, which is anticipated to be an explosive pairing on the offensive line– leaving the Jets’ fans to get more excited for the coming season. 

Breece Hall aside, Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson ignite Jets offense in joint practice

Besides Rodgers and Hall, there is another offensive pairing in the Jets gaining prominence in the league involving the ten-time Pro Bowler. It’s Rodgers and Garrett Wilson, who with their wild plays and big plans against the team’s strong secondary have been highlighted throughout the Summer. 

In the joint practice session with the Giants, Rodgers targetted short field and made quick passes to the star wide receiver. The two formed the perfect duo where the veteran quarterback spotted the lack of defense and made precise throws at Wilson, who positioned himself in the matter to catch the pass straight away.

In fact, Wilson even took a pass to the endzone after the four-time NFL MVP scrambled and threw a no-look pass to his wide receiver. Seeing Rodgers and Wilson on the football field has made many of the quarterbacks’ fans nostalgic and reminisce about his days with Davante Adams in Green Bay.
