Savannah James was having a ‘proud mother day’ with her sons, thriving in basketball. Her oldest Bronny shook the internet with his monstrous dunk and 30-piece in the G-league. The same day, Bryce James has also played a huge role in Sierra Canyon’s win over St. Francis. The team was so far ahead that Bryce could not resist but taunt the opponent crowd. This did not end well, but the 17-year-old received support from his mother.
These days in the NBA celebrating over opponents frequently results in a tech whistle. But now it seems that the situation is similar even in High School basketball. Which is exactly what happened with Bryce James. The guard drilled a three and naturally mocked the present crowd. But to everyone’s surprise, the celebration was slapped with a technical. His mother Savannah James firmly disagreed with the officials. “We bark back,” Savannah James wrote.
Savannah reposted a reel from the incident and uploaded it on her Instagram story. As Bryce and his teammates looked disappointed with the whistle, Savannah defended her son. Considering the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers were on a road game at St. Francis, the high school crowd became hostile towards the visiting team. Savannah simply explained that her son was only responding to the audience.
Despite the technical foul, the Trailblazers silenced the crowd with their score. The team dominated from the start with their incredible on-court chemistry. Bryce showed off multiple skills including his amazing shooting. The guard even had a ‘blocked by James’ moment. The team embarrassed St. Francis with the final score of 77-48.
Savannah James was emotional about Bryce James’ college visit
LeBron James and Savannah are very much close with all of their kids supporting them through everything. Just today, Savannah proudly showed off Bronny’s dunk in the G-league. But that does not mean it is always happy days in the James household. As her sons are getting older the 38-year-old is emerged with all kinds of emotions.
Bryce has recently committed to the Arizona Wildcats. But long before that, Savannah caught a reality check while Bryce was busy making a choice for his college career. As Bryce got offers from multiple universities, Savannah got emotional during the college visits. The mother in her was not ready to part ways with her second son who will be going away to college.
I’m about to go on a college visit with my with my second child and I don’t know how to feel about it. I’m excited, but like that means another one is going to be leaving the nest, so that’s kind of crazy for me, but it’s fine. All the emotions, but it’s fine.

But now it seems that Savannah has accepted the change as she strongly showed support to Bryce. The guard is only improving in high school, as he recently won MVP at Hoophall Classic with a career-high performance. Despite being quite young, the 17-year-old’s performance is getting at the NCAA level.
