Travis Hunter, the two-way star from the Colorado Buffaloes, knew that he was going to go in the early half of the draft before it even began. Unlike his compatriot in Colorado, Shedeur Sanders, Hunter’s confidence was spot on as well. Hunter was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars, who traded up and swapped with the Cleveland Browns for a second pick.
In the moments leading up to the Jacksonville Jaguars selecting Travis Hunter in the NFL Draft, the cameras captured a scene that set him apart from other prospects. While most players anxiously awaited a life-changing phone call, Hunter appeared calm and composed — his attention fixed not on the draft, but on his phone.
Rather than fidgeting or pacing, the Heisman winner seemed fully immersed in a mobile game. Fans quickly took to social media, speculating that Hunter was deeply engaged in Clash of Clans, possibly mid-attack or completing an upgrade, treating the biggest night of his career like any other evening.

Some others noted that the player might not be playing Clash of Clans, but yet another popular mobile game called Township.
Nevertheless, Travis Hunter has admitted that he didn’t know that he would end up in Jacksonville. In a recent interview, he noted that he had been surprised. He also revealed that he hasn’t spoken to the Jags scouts much during the NFL Scouting Combines either.
In the meantime, there are already ripe speculations about an incoming gaming deal for the player as well. Fans who spotted him playing on his phone in the green room noted that it might be a slight foreshadowing of a Clash of Clans deal.
The behavior in fact, very much similar to his characteristics on a normal day. The deeply engaged gaming fits his very active online and digital persona. He’s a regular streamer with a YouTube channel where he posts content on an often basis, whether it be a vlog detailing his day or a workout routine.
Travis Hunter is excited to join the Jacksonville Jaguars
Travis Hunter, who was introduced as an offensive wide receiver and a defensive cornerback as per his wish, received an initial setback. The Jacksonville Jaguars HC Liam Coen admitted that, as per current plans, they are not intending to play the Buffs player in two roles from the beginning. So, it will take some time before he can prove his naysayers and critics.

Coen further added that Hunter shall begin his career playing offense first. However, the setback seemed to have no effect on his energy levels. In the introduction to the Florida city, the Jags pulled up all the strings to make it a memorable one.
In the video uploaded by the franchise, the Jags seemed to have introduced Hunter in high hopes and high fashion. He also let it loose a little bit, breaking out some moves before officially red inking it.
In the video, Hunter was seen dancing with the Jaguars mascot and looked happy in his future surroundings.
Earlier, he had noted that how the Jaguars means a full circle moment in his life. He noted that he played his first collegiate game against a team based in Florida and now he starts his professional life from Florida.
It was a blessing. You know, it was all full circle. I came back home to be able to play my first, you know, college game was in Florida and now my first NFL game is going to be, you know, for a team from Florida if it’s not home.
