First Tyreek Hill, and now Justin Jefferson. A recent family court ruling confirmed Jefferson to be the father of a baby girl.

The 25-year-old, widely regarded as a top-3 receiver in the NFL, is now a father. A New Jersey family court announced the verdict passed by Judge Aldo J Russo on June 26.

Daily Mail.com came into possession of the documents linking Jefferson to the child of Andrea Galea, whom he got pregnant back in 2023. According to Galea, she filed a complaint that the 25-year-old was pressuring her to have an abortion, which she refused.

A series of text messages between the two documented their dilemma. Jefferson questioned her about whether she wanted to give birth to the baby and if she had used Plan B (abortion). However, Galea stuck to her guts, per the Mail.

Defendant sought to pressure the Plaintiff into having an abortion. The Defendant actively encouraged the Plaintiff to terminate the pregnancy, offering to do '[w]hatever [the Plaintiff] need[ed] [him] to do. Upon his realization that he could not persuade [the] Plaintiff to abort [the] pregnancy, Defendant began acting towards her with great insensitivity and extreme cruelty.

A paternity test revealed Justin Jefferson as the father of Andrea Galea’s daughter

After reportedly arguing with Jefferson for a few months, Galea decided to have the baby. She gave birth to baby Stella in December.

Both Jefferson and Galea agreed to a paternity test, which proved that he was the father. She also pushed for financial help from Jefferson’s end, who recently signed a four-year, $140 million deal with the Vikings.

Mail revealed that both parties agreed to an amount but did not disclose any numbers. The court advised them to keep their distance for the time being, but permitted Justin Jefferson to have FaceTime conversations.

Galea recently traveled to Italy for a vacation with Stella even though Jefferson was against it. The court order nullified the 3-time Pro Bowler’s request, allowing Galea to visit Italy with her daughter.

Jefferson and Galea met back in 2019 when the two studied in Louisiana. While he was learning his trade in football for the Tigers, Galea was part of the swim team. After a brief period of staying detached, the pair hooked up again in early 2023.

Two Vikings players in the span of a few days made headlines for different reasons. Besides the LSU graduate, second-year receiver Jordan Addison spent a few hours in jail after the police nabbed him in Los Angeles.
