World number 4 Viktor Axelsen was blessed with a baby girl on 15th October 2020. Earlier today, he announced his social media profiles with a photo of his newborn.

The former world number one welcomed his baby with his girlfriend Natalia Rohde. The little girl has been named Vega Rohde Axelsen. Natalia Rohde is a retired Danish badminton player. She has had the highest world ranking of 35.

Viktor Axelsen did not participate in the Danisa Denmark Open due to an ankle injury. He has been recovering well and has started rehabilitation and training. This period has been a blessing in disguise as he has spent some time with his family.
