As expected, Super Bowl LIX was a rendezvous of the high and mighty. Played between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, the 2024-25 NFL season finale pulled in former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. The 79-year-old had stopped making public appearances since tendering his resignation from TKO as the conglomerate’s executive chairman. Not only Vince but also his son Shane McMahon made his presence felt last night.

However, the father-son duo didn’t appear to stay together. Both of them were captured in separate frames. Shane-O-Mac grabbed some headlines last year off his private meeting with AEW CEO Tony Khan. There were rumors of him joining the Jacksonville-based promotion, ditching his father’s decades-old wrestling empire. However, nothing came to fruition.

Like Shane, Vince is no longer associated with WWE in any official capacity. Vinnie Mac is currently facing legal charges pressed by an ex-WWE employee, Janel Grant. The plaintiff’s attorney, Ann Callis, recently filed a motion to bolster her client’s case with a slew of fresh evidence. On top of that, Brock Lesnar has been officially named in the federal lawsuit but not as a defendant.

Circling back to the euphoria of Super Bowl LIX, some more wrestling personalities who made it to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans included The Undertaker. AEW’s head honcho Tony Khan and his company’s reigning TBS Champion Mercedes Mone were also spotted by the fans.

Speaking of the game, the clash of titans—the Eagles vs. the Chiefs—who trumped who? Green thrashed red, as star Eagles QB Jalen Hurts outgunned his Chiefs counterpart Patrick Mahomes. It resulted in Philly becoming a two-time Super Bowl champion. The final score line of 22-40 precluded Kansas City from a three-peat.

Fans let out a chuckle at Vince McMahon’s Super Bowl XIV appearance

As noted above, both Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon turned up for the Super Bowl on Sunday. As one could see in the pics below, the erstwhile XFL owner is not sporting a mustache anymore.

A bunch of netizens pointed out how the former WWE Chairman’s body is turning pale and skinny. But somehow the majority seemed to concur with the fact that Vince looked way younger than his 55-year-old son.

One fan joked that the ill-famed business tycoon will introduce a new team to the NFL off the money he made by selling his TKO stocks. Some others were quite eager in finding out whether Shane and Vince sat together. One claimed that they indeed did, as there’s a common person beside them.
