Vinicius Jr. has been one of the best players in Europe this past season for Real Madrid. The flashy winger was at least two steps ahead of his opponents in every game he took to the pitch in the Champions League. To top things off, the Madrid No.7 scored the winning goal in the UCL final against Borussia Dortmund. To make things worse for the rest of Europe, he will be joined by teen sensation Endrick from Brazilian club Palmeiras.
With club football coming to an end, players are busy with their respective countries, in preparation for the Copa America and Euros. Brazil were up against Mexico in a friendly ahead of the Copa America that kicks off on the 21st. Fans were given a glimpse of what to expect next season as Vinicius Jr. and his soon-to-be teammate Endrick combined to produce the winning goal for Brazil.

Going into the sixth minute of injury time, Brazil were tied on goals as the score line read 2-2. Up stepped Vinicius to whip in a teasing cross into the danger area, which was expertly met by the 17-year-old boy wonder to head the ball into the opposition’s net.
The crowd erupted in celebration as fans once again got reassurance of how good a team Madrid will field in the next campaign.
Fans react to Endrick’s stunning header to give Brazil the win over Mexico
Brazil pulled off a late win against Mexico thanks to two Real Madrid players. Of the pair, the goal was set up by Champions League Player of the Season Vinicius Jr. and the goal was scored by soon-to-be Madrid player Endrick. The latter will join the club as soon as he turns 18 in the following month.

A fan commented that the rest of Europe will stand no chance at all given the unfathomable amount of talent they’ll have in their squad. Another claimed that Brazilian will be at the centre of everything next season for the Los Blancos. With an entire generation of talented young stars at their disposal, a fan claimed that football is truly in safe hands for the next decade.
Others chose to talk about the goal itself, as they pointed to how Endrick’s header gave the opposition keeper no chance at all. A few fans started praying for the USMNT, who will be up against the Canaries in four days’ time. Their last game against a South American country (Colombia) ended in a 5-1 thrashing at home!
