Paris Saint-Germain have made surprising transfer deals their thing. Shortly after being forced to let go of star man Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid on a free transfer, reports suggest that the club are in the works for something much more unimaginable. It is understood that the Ligue 1 champions are looking to replace Mbappe with another Real Madrid player, and it’s none other than Vinicius Jr.!
Mbappe is set to join Madrid after the Euros, and with all eyes on the Frenchman, he will certainly be feeling the pressure to deliver. On the other hand, Madrid No.7 Vinicius Jr. is on international duty with Brazil for the upcoming Copa America. With his scintillating performance in the UEFA Champions League final and entire tournament throughout, the No.7 is the frontrunner to lift the Ballon d’Or award.
The 23-year-old Champions League winner has cemented himself as one of the club’s most important players, and has earned a guaranteed spot in Carlo Ancelotti‘s starting line-up. The Brazilian has signed off on a deal which keeps him at the club until 2027.
He is one of the highest earners at the club, pocketing more than €10 million as per several sources. PSG will have to pitch a gargantuan offer if Real Madrid and Florentino Perez are to even consider the offer!
PSG on high alert as Manchester City stars price tag is revealed
Julian Alvarez is one of the most heavily sought-after players in all of Europe in this transfer window. The Manchester City forward, despite racking up impressive numbers for the Cityzens, finds himself playing second fiddle to Erling Haaland. The Argentine striker scored 16 goals and set up another 11 in competitions this season.
Despite being under contract with City till 2028, interest from several clubs across Europe may force City to consider the option of selling the player. As per reports, the club are willing to consider selling him if they receive an offer above £70 million. Even though City are trying their best to convince him to stay, a suitable offer may lure him away from the Cityzens.
Alvarez joined Manchester City back in 2022, after signing from River Plate for £14 million. Ever since, the player has won a Champions League, multiple Premier League titles and several other domestic accolades. The World Cup winner also has interest from Atletico Madrid and Chelsea even though he wants to play for Real Madrid!
