Ever since the lovely couple, Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma has become parents; a buzz has mounted over the social media platforms. Anushka gave birth to the baby girl at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on January 11, and as per the recent reports, they have named their daughter ‘Anvi.’

Clearly, ‘Anvi’ is a combination of two words, which, in a way, are the initials of her parent’s first name- Anushka and Virat. Fans are eager to catch a glimpse of the baby girl, but Anushka’s and Virat’s social media handles are dry, with no photo of the star kid.

However, Virat Kohli’s brother Vikas Kohli shared the first picture of his niece on Instagram with the caption, “Happiness overboard…. Angel in the house.” Kohli’s adorable picture of his niece however shows only her tiny feet.

Virat and Anushka want to keep their child away from the limelight. “We’ve thought about it a lot. We definitely do not want to raise a child in the public eye-we don’t plan on engaging our child in social media. I think it’s a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It’s hard enough for adults to deal with it. It’s going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through,” Anushka Sharma had said in an interview to Vogue.

On January 11, Monday, Virat Kohli posted on his Social Media handles announcing the baby girl’s arrival. It was also believed that Baba Anant Maharaj was to name the newborn, as Anushka’s family has high trust on this spiritual guru.
