Virat Kohli has been known to be a very aggressive player by nature. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and is quite vocal as well. Many times he is seen sending off players and he did the same during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) win over Gujarat Titans (GT) on 28th April.

Shahrukh Khan came in to bat at number four, a position he isn’t used to. The batter from Chennai scored his maiden IPL fifty, taking 24 balls to reach it. He was dismissed for 58 runs by Mohammed Siraj with an incredible delivery, smashing into the stumps. As the wicket fell, Virat Kohli gave a fiery send-off to Khan from the boundary line.

Kohli then proceeded to score a match-winning 70* off 44 to chase down the target of 201. Will Jacks contributed with the 5th fastest century in the history of the IPL as well. RCB chased down the score with four overs to spare.

Virat Kohli amazed by phenomenal century by Will Jacks

Virat Kohli was lucky to witness Will Jacks’ incredible century against GT on 28th April. The 25-year-old took 40 balls to score a century, despite being 17 off 17 at one point. Kohli praised his teammate in the post-match interview, admitting he was annoyed by Jacks’ slow start.

He said he kept talking to him and the English batter finally started to show his shots after batting against Mohit Sharma. Kohli believed they could chase down the target in 19 overs, but Jacks ensured he did it in 16. The former RCB captain then hit out at his critics as well.

Phenomenal! I think it was one of the better T20 hundreds one would ever see, I was just happy to watch it closely from the other end.

This win doesn’t change RCB’s position on the table unfortunately. RCB are at the bottom of the table despite the two consecutive wins, but tied on points with Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings.
