“You’re gonna get yourself fired,” Wade Barrett fires back at ‘IRATE’ Charlotte Flair after standing up for Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown
The SmackDown color commentator precluded further damage on Tiffany Stratton after she'd been mauled enough by Charlotte Flair.

On this week’s SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton scored an impressive win over NXT’s budding superstar, Roxanne Perez. Even though the latter lost, she showed glimpses of the in-ring brilliance the fans tout her for. On the other hand, after Stratton, the reigning women’s champion, put Perez away, she was attacked by Charlotte Flair.
The Queen ran her into a barricade, followed by the steel ring post. Flair wasn’t done as she threw her WrestleMania opponent over the commentary table and was planning to double down on the assault. However, Wade Barrett came in the way of the devious intentions of the 39-year-old.
He tried talking some sense into an irate Flair, telling her that she might even get herself fired if she doesn’t keep her cool. Charlotte retorted in exasperation and kept arguing with the former Intercontinental Champion. The segment came to a close with the 14-time women’s champion standing tall atop the desk and a grounded Stratton in agony.

It was the second time on Friday that Charlotte had reduced Tiffany to begging for her life. That said, before SmackDown went on-air, The Buff Barbie was blindsided by Flair in the parking lot. The fans there captured the two belligerents swinging at each other, with Flair getting the better of the 25-year-old.
Later on SmackDown, play-by-play Joe Tessitore announced that both women were subject to disciplinary action from WWE after they crossed the line last week. It was also said that Flair was asked to go home as she wiped out Tiffy earlier in the day. However, everyone saw what eventually transpired.
What was scripted about Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton’s controversial promo?
The entire discourse surrounding Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton caught the masses when they made personal remarks about each other last Friday. The Queen’s divorce and the number of failed marriages she’s had were the low-hanging fruits, and Stratton cashed in on them.

The Nature Girl clapped back by accusing Ludwig Kaiser of rolling into her DMs. Stratton’s boyfriend did have a little something to say about catching strays on SmackDown. But, as per Fightful‘s reporting, those jabs weren’t approved by WWE in advance.
Dave Meltzer has also come up with his version of the story, claiming that the WrestleMania-bound opponents have had backstage issues of late. As far as their recent promo battle is concerned, Meltzer stated that it was designed as a retaliating act for Tiffany, who fell victim to Charlotte allegedly trying to bury her in a split-screen interview they did three weeks ago.

The feeling was in the dual camera segment a few weeks back, that Flair steamrolled Stratton and made her look bad.

Dave further added that Stratton’s lines, mentioning Ric Flair, were pretty much scripted. The Nature Boy had a negative reaction to the segment in his latest appearance on the Busted Open Radio podcast. He was cynical about his daughter’s personal life remarks being brought up on TV without any prior backstage consultation.
JBL calls out hypocritical fans over Charlotte Flair/Tiffany Stratton feud
With the way things have gone between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair in the past two weeks, it has gotten everyone talking. WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield recently exposed the double standards of the fans who are questioning the professional ethics of these women and are calling for them to be fired.

The Wrestling God joined Conrad Thompson on Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard. JBL said that those complaining about the Charlotte/Stratton feud oozing unprofessionalism can’t have it both ways.
At first, that portion of fans was lamenting the rivalry’s ice-cold nature until it was basically a rinse and repeat post-Royal Rumble. But now that it has heated up, though at the expense of bringing up the personal lives on TV, fans are still whining, which baffles Layfield.
