According to ESPN BET, the Chiefs are 1.5 points favorite to win the Super Bowl LIX but the road certainly wouldn’t be easy for them. Philly, led by Jalen Hurts and the unstoppable Saquon Barkley, has dominated the entire NFC on both sides of the balls and as many believe, the clash between these two teams will be nothing short of spectacular.
NFL fans accuse league of rigging games to favor Kansas City Chiefs
While the Chiefs are standing on the bricks of creating unprecedented history, their efforts have been undermined by a conspiracy theory swirling around the internet. Instigated by the controversial officiating in the Chiefs’ divisional round win over the Houston Texans, many have accused the NFL of deliberately favoring Mahomes.
The conspiracy theory has been stretched to such an extent that former NFL Vice President of Officiating, Dean Blandino addressed it in his appearance on SiriusXM Radio. He shared that his brother is convinced that the NFL has been manipulated, making sure to gain monetary advantage by Taylor Swift’s presence at the games.
Although Blandino dismissed these theories as purely speculative, many fans remain convinced that such manipulation is the reason Kansas City has reached its third consecutive Super Bowl appearance.
