Wiggins is playing some elite and all-star level of basketball this season alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. He has also turned his whole game around and stepped up as a important piece for the Dubs.

This season Andrew Wiggins has really had a major impact and even played the role of a leader as he has always delivered by stepping up the offence a level high whenever needed. Steve Kerr in the pregame when questioned about the trade which has the Warriors on better side  replying to it quoted: ”Definitely a trade for need for us, desperately needed size on the wing”. Keeping it simple Steve just added facts to it while mentioning the main reason of the Warriors already having Stephen Curry which cuts the need of D’Angelo Russell as the Greatest Shooter of all time was back in form after a hand injury which had him side-lined for a year where Russell played a role of guard for dubs.

The size factor is something the Golden State Warriors really needed as Wiggins is comparatively bigger than Russell which opens up some space at the defensive end for the team to rest since they can rely on him as he has the ability to cover it all. Both the players Wiggins and D’Angelo Russell are pure talents drafted high up and are also living up to the expectations so the trade was fair enough but the Warriors using Andrew as a perfect asset gives them the better of it.
