WATCH: A tour of Roger Federer’s under-construction house in the luxurious Rapperswil

Roger Federer made his comeback to the tour at this month’s Qatar Open in Doha. The 39-year-old made a return to tennis after more than a year, having last played competitively at the 2020 Australian Open.
The Swiss maestro although couldn’t make it far in the tournament losing in the quarter-final to eventual champion Nikoloz Basilashvili in three sets 3-6,6-1,7-5.

Federer won his opening match and return, defeating Briton Dan Evans in three sets 7-6(8),3-6,7-5. He didn’t completely find him rhythm though in the tournament and hence decided to skip Dubai Tennis Championships to practice.
New ‘Footsteps of Federer’ book gives a detailed picture of Federer’s life

A new book ‘FOOTSTEPS OF FEDERER’ shows the Swiss’ legacy and traces the G.O.A.T’s origin. The book is written by self-defined “mad traveler” and former diplomat Dave Seminara.
The author shared a video on Instagram of the new neighborhood in which Federer will live. Federer’s new property is located in a luxurious locality- Rapperswil.
The video gives a glimpse of the vast plot of land which provides a picturesque view of the mountain range at the back. Seminara showed the cranes and other construction material at the area of the site.
While giving the tour, Seminara speculated the worth of the land to be around $40 million. As the author walked down the street, he came across a few barns right in front of Federer’s property.
Federer has the company of Jorge Paulo Lemann, one of the world’s richest people. With a net worth of $17.2 billion, Lemann very lives close to the Swiss Maestro’s new property in Rapperswil.
