According to an Instagram story shared by the Argentine on his official account, FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has reconnected with his closest pals Cesc Fabregas and Luis Suarez, this time in Ibiza, after celebrating his 35th birthday.
Ferrán Torres looked to be among them in addition to those whom Leo Messi frequently interacts with, which confused the supporters. Along with the tales of the current PSG star, a picture of Messi conversing with Torres on an afternoon in Ibiza has been making the rounds on social media.
The two players’ encounters and conversations are uncommon since Messi and Ferran have never played together in Barcelona, they are from different countries, and they have a 13-year age gap. What were they discussing? There is no doubt that it draws attention, and this is made even more so given that Messi’s contract expires in 2023 and his future is uncertain..

Ferran and Leo have been enjoying their time off in the popular Spanish holiday destination Ibiza. This is probably one of the few times Ferran and Messi have met off the pitch.
The new season will be starting soon and the players will return to their respective clubs soon. Messi will be going back to join Paris and Ferran will return to Barcelona for their respective seasons.
Lionel Messi had a modest season according to his lofty standards. He will be looking to return to his very best with Paris next season. With Mbappe staying at PSG, Messi will be targeting to triumph the Champions League with Paris next season.
Whereas, Ferran Torres signed for Barcelona in the January transfer window. He didn’t reach the heights he was expected to with the Catalans this season. But Barca coach Xavi Hernandez still has faith in Ferran and will consider him an important part of the Barca squad.
