Alvarez is now targeting the cruiserweight division to win a world title in the fifth weight class in boxing. However, it’s not sure if Alvarez would be fighting since although Alvarez’s manager Eddie Hearn and trainer Eddy Reynoso have been making requests to WBC to let Alvarez fight their champion Ilunga Makabu. However, chances are Alvarez is most likely to fight anyone out of Dmitry Bivol, Artur Beterbiev, Joe Smith Jr., and even Gennady Golovkin.
