Carlos Alcaraz has spent time with several American players in recent days. The Spaniard played exhibition matches with Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe at Madison Square Garden.
Off the court, his competitive spirit remained strong as he joined 2003 US Open champion Andy Roddick in a simulated golf match. Roddick shared the experience on his “Served with Andy Roddick” Instagram and Twitter pages.
Alcaraz’s achievements in the United States are well known. He claimed his first Masters 1000 title in Miami in April 2022 and later won his maiden Grand Slam at the US Open that same year.
In recent seasons, Alcaraz secured back-to-back Masters 1000 titles at Indian Wells. Notably, this was the only Masters 1000 event he won this season.
