Chelsea are playing against Manchester City at Porto in the Champions League Final. The match had been a topsy turvy one from the start with both teams getting chances early on.
Chelsea have looked threatening on the break and Werner missed one important chance from a Mount pass early on before firing one straight to Ederson and then brushing one against the side netting. Manchester city have dominated on the ball but created very few clear cut chances. And then it is Chelsea who goes ahead in the all important final with Havertz edging the London side ahead just before first half.
City are now losing to Chelsea for the third time this season after Tuchel’s appointment. The Manchester City defenders are all over the place at the time and Havertz just gets between them to reach Mount’s through ball. Ederson rushes out and commits himself and Havertz loops it past him before sliding the ball into the back of the empty net for his first Champions League goal. 1-0 Chelsea! in the Finals.
