WATCH! Ciryl Gane releases a super intriguing promo of his own for his title fight at UFC 270
Ciryl Gane
Interim- UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane might probably be the fastest rising contender, alongside former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt, to reach the championship status within as few as 10 professional fights in his overall MMA career. The undefeated French mixed-martial artist has notable wins over the toughest of his division that includes Junior Dos Santos, Alexander Volkov, Derreck Lewis and Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
Now, in the final mountain to climb on his championship status, Ciryl Gane will be fighting at UFC 270 in a title unification bout against the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Francis Ngannou. For the records, Ngannou and Gane were one-time teammates who were training under the same gym, MMA Factory of France, headed by coach Fernand Lopez. Ever since a beef between Lopez and Ngannou took place back in around 2018, the latter has now been training in the gym Xtreme Couture in the USA.
Ciryl Gane represents MMA Factory alongside coach Fernand Lopez heading into UFC 270 fight week
Just a couple of hours ago, Gane posted a video on Twitter with the caption “It’s fight weeeek!! #UFC270“ In the video whose credentials of the production are anonymous as of now, Gane is seen as an outer space human dropping down to Earth in a space capsule over which there’s a text that says “MMA Factory”. As soon as Gane lands on Earth and the capsule opens, he comes face to face with coach Fernand Lopez who’s standing far away assessing Gane and rating him by his strength, gives him a score of “200%”
In the end, both Gane and Lopez share a smile together, representing something good is about to happen. Watch this tweet from Gane below to know what we’re talking about! Ladies and gentlemen, the fight week of UFC 270 has officially been inaugurated.
This video was as interesting as intriguing as any other promo by the UFC officially itself, what did you make of the video? Who do you get it winning between Ngannou and Gane? This title unification bout, along with the storyline that the former teammates are now fighting each other, is as big of a legacy fight as it comes. On the natural storyline of this fight, UFC President Dana White once said “Even Vince McMahon (Chairman, WWE) couldn’t have scripted this any better.”
