Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson have always shared a very close relationship off track. Recently Hamlin spoke about a very cute moment between him, and Larson’s daughter Audrey. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver spoke about a time when he was babysitting her while her dad was competing in a NASCAR Xfinity race.

It occurred during this weekends race at COTA. Kyle Larson‘s daughter was with Denny Hamlin and his daughters in their Motorhome, while the 2021 Cup champion was racing in the Xfinity Series. The JGR driver reveled Audrey always keeps an eye on where her dad’s running even when she’s playing. Hamlin also revaeled how Audrey reacted when Larson ended up winning the race.

I was actually hanging out with his daughter Audrey most of the day. She was at the bus playing with molly. Its kind of cool to get a different perspective of how kids interact with like, Do they really know what's going on and so every now and then she'd be in the back in the bunks playinh with Molly and she'd ask every 15-20 minutes- Where's my dad running? Five laps later Jordan's like oh my god Audrey you gotta go to Victory lane. Y'all won.

The entire story just seems to be adorable, with Hamlin later concluding by saying that the entire thing was very cool for him. Looks like Hamlin babysitting Audrey is something that adds luck for the Hendrick Motorsports driver.

Denny Hamlin gives insights into his relationship with crew chief Chris Gabehart

Denny Hamlin has always shared a very cordial relationship with Joe Gibbs Racing crew chief Chris Gabehart. The pair have been working together since 2019 and have amassed a lot of iconic wins such as three Daytona 500 victories.

During a conversation with former Stewart–Haas Racing driver Kevin Harvick, Hamlin spoke about his dynamics with the crew chief. The driver added how Chris Gabehart revitalised his career and brought him back to the front of the grid.

I don't think there's any secret that Chris has rejuvenated my career, I think he's just the guy who has really pushed me to get better. But I think of him like a head coach, I'm the quarterback, he's the head coach. That is my job, to run whatever play he tells me.

The driver seemed to be very honest about how Gabehart is somewhat of a head coach, and how Hemlim listens to whatever instructions that he gives. The duo seem to be going strong, with Denny Hemlim recently winning the Food City 500 race as well.
