Watch: Josh Hazlewood’s fierceness as Cheteshwar Pujara pulled off a delivery
Australia’s speedster Josh Hazlewood took on his nerves after Indian batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara pulled off a delivery due to some obstruction that the latter faced while batting on Day 5 last Test in Brisbane. In a fit of rage, Hazelwood threw the next delivery so hard that the bouncer hit Pujara’s helmet.
The incident happened when Pujara consolidated well on the pitch, and it was getting hard for the Australians to make a breakthrough.
Video that went viral
As usual, Australians resorted to their poor bowling practices, bowled lethal deliveries to get the game in their control. However, Pujara remained undeterred, absorbed the nasty deliveries, hit a ravishing knock of 56 runs and faced 211 deliveries.
After Pujara’s consolidation, Rishabh Pant played a lion-hearted knock to drive India to a three-wicket historic victory in Brisbane. Team India won the Test series 2-1 and retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
