It’s been more than 5 and a half years since the great Muhammad Ali passed away, leaving an endless trail of great memories, both inside and outside the boxing ring. For a man who never fought more than 200 pounds of weight but always dominated the opponents heavier than him, Ali was a special athlete who knew that he may not have the power of the heaviest fighters on the roster but utilized his relatively lightweight to the fullest to develop an unmatched speed, both offensively and defensively.

With that said, Ali was able to bring some glory and attention when boxing needed a face like him desperately in the 1960s and 70s. With his flamboyant persona, Ali was able to put the audience on the edge of their seats and introduce boxing at a new level. In all of this entertainment into fight business, Ali was able to have a signature of his own, which can be imitated by many but never perfected if it’s not Ali.

Yes, the “Ali Shuffle” is a footwork pattern that confused the opponents with the speed of the feet shuffling so fast that opponents would start thinking if Ali will box from Orthodox or Southpaw, hence confusing and getting them trapped into a power shot.
