NASCAR Hall of Famer Mark Martin is one of the greatest stock car racing drivers of all time. The 65-year-old has had over 30 NASCAR Cup Series wins and has been the championship runner-up four times. He is well-known for his brilliant taste and unparalleled love for rap music.

Recently the former Roush Racing driver was asked about his favorite Rap artist on the Rubbin is Racing Podcast. Martin replied by first talking about his general love for rap music and how it progressed over the years, moving from Eminem to Gucci Mane. The former driver also claimed that Mane is the best rapper of all time.

I had one of the son’s friends ask me if I listened to Gucci Mane [In 2002]. I didn’t know who it was. As soon as I found him, it was crazy. In my opinion, there is no one in the same zipcode with Gucci Mane. If I rap, I would never do a duo with him. Every time he does one with anybody he just crushes them. This guy is unbelievable!

The 65-year-old also shared how back in the day Gucci Mane’s songs weren’t available on iTunes so he had to scour for them on random websites online. Additionally, Mark Martin truly showcased his brilliant taste in rap music with his selection of artists and his journey with rap music in general.
