The star was also involved in a competitive 1v1 against his brother, Nemanja Jokic, in China, exposing the rivalry between the two. Aside from this, the Nuggets’ David Adelman was given the permanent position to succeed Michael Malone after being appointed as an interim initially.

Also, they have been quite active in this trade market, replacing their players with new reinforcements. They signed Bruce Brown and Tim Hardaway Jr. and traded Michael Porter Jr. for Cam Johnson and Dario Saric for Jonas Valanciunas. This gives the Joker plenty of options around him and a new look for the Nuggets’ side for the upcoming 2025-26 NBA season.

In those 60 games, he averaged 8.0 points per game, but after those two years, he returned to Serbia. Nevertheless, Jokic’s comments showcase the impact the former Serbian player had on him.
