Ons Jabeur has had an amazing season in 2022, playing in four finals and winning two of them. She is one of the only two players besides Iga Swiatek to win multiple titles in 2022. She won a historic WTA 1000 Masters in Madrid, then followed it up with a final appearance in the Italian Open. Though she suffered a first-round loss at the French Open 2022, she bounced straight back to win the title in Berlin.

Jabeur defeated Belinda Bencic 6-3, 2-1 to win the Bett1 Open as Bencic retired with an ankle injury in the second set. Jabeur has also climbed to a career-high ranking of number 3 in the world. She has turned out to be one of the most consistent players of 2022 and is also expected to make a deep run in Wimbledon 2022. She is also becoming a fan favorite with her beautiful personality and compassion towards other players, which was evident as she rushed to comfort Bencic after her injury.
