Patrick Mahomes was in Miami on May 4 when his favorite NBA team, the Dallas Mavericks, won the first game against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the conference semi-finals. OKC paid the Mavs back in the second game at home.

When the sides returned to the American Airlines Center on Saturday night for game three, Mahomes wasn’t about to miss out. Wearing a white  T-shirt, cargo pants, and his trademark cap and shades, Mahomes arrived at the venue with his wife Brittany.

During a crucial moment in the game, the Mavs picked up a loose ball after OKC failed to convert. Josh Green ran with it and saw PJ Washington wide open under the basket, who leaped up and scored a massive dunk.

As he was walking back to defend, the camera panned toward Patrick Mahomes, who was pumped on the front row.

Patrick Mahomes applauded Luka Doncic’s 1000 IQ play

The play was going back and forth during the halfway mark, and neither team appeared to have an edge over the other. However, a moment of magic from Luka Doncic turned the trajectory of the game in the Mavs’ favor.

OKC’s Luguentz Dort was not giving an inch to the Serbian on the night. He was sticking to Doncic like glue until the 24-year-old showed a quick feat, stepping back despite Dort breathing on his neck and converting a three-pointer.

It happened right in the face of Patrick Mahomes, who was in awe of Doncic’s high-IQ game play. The Dallas Mavericks eventually won the game by 4 points (105-101), taking a 2-1 lead in the series.

Washington finished the game with the most points on the night for the Mavs, 27. Doncic, with 15 rebounds and 5 assists, scored 22 points, the same as Kyrie Irving, who had 5 rebounds and 7 assists.

Before jetting off to Dallas, Patrick and Brittany were in the Miami Autdrome to watch Formula 1, the Maimi Grand Prix. A whole host of NFL players turned up for the race, including Odell Beckham Jr., who came to support Lewis Hamilton, George Kittle, DeAndre Hopkins, Alvin Kamara, and Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt.

A day before the race, the Mahomes couple went to the American Express Presents Carbone Beach, hosted by Major Food Group founders Mario Carbone, Jeff Zalaznick, and Rich Torrisi, per Page Six. This was also a star-studded event that saw the presence of NBA royalty LeBron James, Kevin Durant, X CEO Elon Musk, and MLB legend Derek Jeter, along with several other notable faces.
