Roger Federer was a dominant force in tennis for nearly two decades before he decided to hang up his racket at the 2022 Laver Cup. That day was one of the most emotional days for any tennis fan as they witnessed the Swiss great play for the last time. 

More recently, Federer released the news of his latest documentary ‘Twelve Final Days’, which gives insights into his final days as a professional tennis player, all leading up to the Laver Cup. The documentary is set to release on the 20th of June and the entire tennis community is excited to give it a watch. Not only is Federer going around promoting his latest release, but also there have been other instances, where London displayed a jaw-dropping advertisement about the release.

They reminded the crowd to watch the documentary by displaying it on the Tower Bridge. The two towers displayed a video of Federer rallying. While one displayed a younger Federer hitting the ball, the other tower had the present Federer hitting it right back.

Roger Federer coming to terms with retirement as he gave his review on the documentary

Roger Federer’s Twelve Finals Days is set to release on June 20th. He and his wife Mirka Federer attended the premiere and watched the documentary ahead of the rest of the world. He revealed that watching the documentary finally got him to come to terms with retirement.

Federer revealed that he and his wife had cried several times while watching the documentary before stating that he never thought that the documentary would be so touching and beautiful.

When my wife and I first saw the documentary, we cried about six times. That's where I accepted that my career was over.
said Roger Federer via Punto de Break

The last day of Federer’s professional career was indeed an emotional one, and he even shared a few moments with his rivals, which got everyone crying on the court. He and Nadal shared a picture-perfect moment on the court, and the fans were also touched by Djokovic’s reaction behind the scenes.
