India’s batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest the game has ever seen. While he was a great batsman in his time, he is an even better individual off the field. The Master Blaster shared a hilarious video on Instagram showing his lighter side as he pulled off a prank on the medical team. Sachin is currently in Raipur representing India Legends in the Road Safety World Series.

Tendulkar screamed in pain after a member of the medical team took his nasal swab for the COVID-19 test. Surprised by Tendulkar’s reaction, the medical personnel stepped aside after which Tendulkar was seen smiling. His prank left the others at the scene in splits. “Tension aapko hai ya mujhe hai?” the 47-year-old asked the personnel.

I’ve played 200 Tests and 277 COVID Tests! A little prank to lighten the mood. Kudos to our medical staff here for helping us to play for a cause!” Tendulkar captioned the video.

After being cut short by the pandemic, the World Series is back with its second leg. And the India legends got off to a flyer. In the first game of the second leg on March 5, India Legends thrashed Bangladesh Legends by 10 wickets. Tendulkar remained unbeaten on 33 runs off 26 balls. On the other hand, his opening partner Virender Sehwag slammed 35-ball 80 as they chased down a paltry total of 110 runs comfortably.

In their second game, they are locking horns with the England Legends as you read. The Indian legends seem to be in trouble after winning the toss and bowling first. The English side are en route to a huge total thanks to a second consecutive fifty by captain Kevin Pietersen.
