Watch: Stephen Curry scores 105 straight 3-pointers
Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry is surely the greatest of Point-Guards in the modern-day NBA. Yet, currently one does feel sorry for him. With Klay Thompson potentially out for the season, No Kevin Durant by his side. Draymond Green missing from the initial games. No big superstar signing for the Golden State Warriors, Curry is left all alone to deal with a bunch of youngsters.
With Kelly Oubre Jr, Andrew Wiggins and James Wiseman as the core youngsters to play the ideal supporting role to Curry. The plan has not worked yet for the Warriors in the 2020-21 season. The experienced Curry has been left with a lot to deal with, which is visible on the court. However, a video of the 3-point King shooting 105 straight 3-pointers goes viral as he practices harder than ever to bounce back with the Dubs.
Stephen Curry turns into a robot scoring 105 straight 3-pointers in practice
From the year 2015 till 2019, the 6-time NBA All-star attempted 10.7 three-pointers per game and converted 4.6 at a rarely heard efficiency of 43.3%. However, that performance took a hit last summer after his hand injury. In the past two games this season, he has converted just 2/10 attempts at 20% accuracy.
Curry’s FG% also stands at a meager 34.2%. All these figures do not complement the three-time NBA Champion who was once so feared that opponents knew he could score from half-court if left unguarded. Having said that, even in an interview after the Warriors latest loss against the Bucks, Curry admitted that the overall attitude and mindset of the players has to improve.
But the positives in these two games has been James Wiseman. Also, the fact that Draymond Green returns from the next game onwards hopefully. With Curry having Green, the experience and burden can be shared, which will help the 3-point King to play even more freely.
