After Pakistan’s recent batting collapse in the 2nd Test against Australia, the team once again fell under scrutiny. The Men in Green were in a healthy position on Day 3 before Babar Azam‘s wicket triggered a collapse.
At the press conference after Day 4, a journalist said that he was talking to some fans and they were saying Babar and Mohammad Rizwan should focus on T20Is. Babar interrupted the journo, saying, “Toh kya aap kah rahe Test chhor de? (Are you saying I should leave Test cricket?”

Australia ended up winning the 2nd Test on Day 4 to get an unassailable lead of 2-0. In the first innings, Babar scored the most for his team with his 75-run knock before Ollie Robinson dismissed him. In the second innings also, he became a victim of Robinson after scoring just one run.

Pakistan vs England match recap
Talking about the 2nd match between England and Pakistan, the former won the toss and decided to bat first. Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope scored 63 and 60, respectively to help their team put on 281/10 in their first innings. Jack Leach‘s four-wicket haul bundled out Pakistan for 202.
In the second innings, Harry Brook slammed another ton, and scored 104 from 149 balls, while Duckett played a 79-run knock to steer England to 275/10 and gave a target of 356 runs. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed scalped four wickets, while Zahid Mahmood got three.
During Pakistan’s chase, Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan gave a good start with their 66-run stand. Shafique scored 45, while Rizwan scored 30. Later, Saud Shakeel ended up missing his century by six runs off Mark Wood’s short ball.
Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Nawaz also added 60 and 45 runs each but these runs were not enough as Wood’s four-wicket haul snatched victory from Pakistan by 26 runs.
England won the first Test by 74 runs on a flat Rawalpindi track. The third Test will be played from December 17-21 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
