Utah fans were devastated after Trae Young's unreal game-winner
Besides playing basketball, one of the things that Trae Young knows and loves to do is shutting the rival crowd with his mind-blowing performances. This is mostly directed toward New York fans, however, this time the Utah Jazz got a piece of it. Young did not even give time to the Jazz fans to celebrate the tie as he won the game for the Atlanta Hawks in the final seconds.
Despite Atlanta leading for the majority of the time, Jazz managed to come super close in the winding seconds. The Utah fans at Delta Center got their hopes back as Collin Sexton tied the game with four seconds left. However, Trae Young had other plans as he hit an unreal half-court buzzer-beater which left the crowd speechless.
The crowd’s view went viral of the play as the fans were devastated by the turn of events. The Utah supporters were all hyped and ready to take the game to overtime, but their dreams were shattered in milliseconds. Disbelief was written all over their faces as the videographer panned the camera into the crowd.

Even the commentators were heartbroken by Young’s shocking three-pointer. The 26-year-old even did his ‘Ice Cold’ celebration to put the cherry on top. The loss has dropped Jazz’s record to a mere 9-26, making them the 14th in the Western Conference.
Trae Young was happy to get the opportunity to hit the historical shot
Young’s surreal buzzer-beater did win Hawks the game and put the team above .500, but it also made history. The Atlanta guard is now in the NBA records list for his shot from beyond the half-court. Young’s last-second shot is now the sixth-longest game-winner in NBA history.
After the electric game, during the sideline interview, Young was asked about his thoughts at the time. As less than four seconds were left on the clock, Young just tried his best to get a look for the team to take a shot. The star felt fortunate to make the shot he had dreamt of as a kid. “We practice those shots growing up and having fun. Even in practice and I’m just glad I had the opportunity today to do it in a game and win it for us,” Trae Young said.

Young finished the night with a 24-20, making it the second-most 20/20 games in a single season in NBA history. With his incredible shooting skills, Young is also succeeding as a point guard, as he now has 427 assists in this season alone.
